I have a strong passion for software engineering and have been active in video game development since my high school days, when I started low-level programming on 8 and 16 bit platforms. Turning what started as a fun hobby into a paid job while going to school, I managed to land contract jobs with game developers working on everything from sound and graphics programming to music composition.

Game development became my chosen career and I subsequently held engineering and management-related positions at a number of leading developers, including LucasArts, Electronic Arts and Zynga. A reasonably complete list of titles I worked on can be found at MobyGames.

I co-founded Blue Crystal Labs, a start-up focusing on social casino games in the mobile space. As CTO, I single-handedly designed, implemented and deployed the backend infrastructure in support of the studio's first game, Simon's Slots.

Before joining Amazon to head up initiatives supporting game developers, I led platform and central tech initiatives at Game Show Network.

Experienced in relevant mobile, web and backend technologies, I am just as comfortable being hands-on, as I am managing engineering teams and driving technology road maps.
